Today was a truly special day in the life of Bethel Lutheran Church—one filled with joy, promise, and the beautiful reminder that God continues to grow and shape our congregation in meaningful ways.

During worship, we celebrated one baptism, welcoming Devin Copley into the body of Christ. Surrounded by family and a congregation full of love, Devin was marked with the cross of Christ forever. Moments like this remind us of God’s unending grace and the gift of new beginnings.

We also rejoiced as three new members were officially welcomed into our Bethel family by transfer: Nola Abernethy, and Linda and Jerry Trier. Their presence, gifts, and faith enrich our church, and we are grateful they have chosen to make Bethel their church home.

As we look celebrate our 175th anniversary this year, days like this feel especially meaningful. They connect our past to our future and remind us that God is still writing Bethel’s story—one person, one family, one joyful moment at a time.

Welcome, Devin, Nola, Linda, and Jerry. We are so glad you’re with us!
