Together, we made a lifesaving impact

We are grateful for everyone who participated in our recent blood drive and helped support the lifesaving work of the American Red Cross. Your generosity and commitment continue to make a real difference in our community and beyond. Having it postponed due to the big snow did not prevent us from having a good drive on March 1, 2026.

This drive was especially meaningful — we had more volunteer help than we’ve had in several years, and it showed. A heartfelt thank‑you to Dave Hincemon, Vickie Grubb, Winfred Kluttz, Kathy Pifferitti, Jerry Trier, Linda Shapleigh, Al Brandon,  Todd LIngle, and Martha Graham as well as all our donors and everyone who shared and promoted the drive.

We are also proud to share that Bethel has held this blood drive for more than 31 consecutive years — a remarkable legacy of service, and and community care.

2026 Blood Drive Results:

  • Goal: 28 units
  • Collected: 25 units
  • Power Red Donors: 4
  • Deferrals: 4
  • No‑Shows: 4
  • Walk‑Ins: 5

Thanks to all the donations and the dedication of our volunteers, as many as 75 lives may be saved through this single drive. That is something truly worth celebrating and to be proud of.

Thank you!   Bethel has great people!
